When they talk about the love potion you learn a lot about it and why people are smelling certain things. Harry smelled something “flowery” which was later to be revealed to be Ginny. It explains everything so much better like about how Harry and ginny get together and other side plot. Some characters don’t even exist in the movies

Like, they have been hinting at them having feelings for each other for many movies. Ron was upset that the one guy asked about Hermione at the tryouts. He was also the one upset when Hermione went with Victor Krum and she told him he should have asked her first and not as a last resort. She's always at his house. It's pretty obvious.

2023-07-26 08:48:47 +0000 UTCit's so frustrating watching you sometimes. you have the memory of a goldfish and the attention span of a dog at the park. maybe consider taking notes or watching a trailer of the previous movie so you can at least jog your memory on what happened before and thus saving yourself from being a confused mess for half the next film. and the constant questions or pointless comments ('are you caressing the wall') instead of paying attention to what's happening are really obnoxious. i was happy when you started these reactions, one of the reasons i subbed, but it's become hard to ignore the apparent absurdity in these reactions. last movie and the first 20 of this one were hardly bearable. i don't think i'll continue this one unfortunately. perhaps i'll come back once i can binge the rest of them and just skip through so it's not as hard to watch.

About 98% of the questions you have aren't even questions you COULD have when it comes to the books. The movies leave out so many things that create a more fully lived in world where you get clear explanations on the reasons why certain characters do or don't do things. Either way, love the reactions and keep it up!

Children with magical abilities in HP start to manifest powers quite early on - nothing specific, more like raw ability that needs to be honed hence the magical schools. And as for Ginny, the movies did her absolutely dirty. In the books, especially in the later ones, she's smart, funny, and very much her own person which doesn't get shown at all in the movies.
