2023-09-12 18:57:13 +0000 UTCI’m happy for you that you enjoyed them, but I think Don should give the first 2 episodes a shot and if he isn’t feeling them then to quit. Those shows in my opinion were very bad (especially Secret Invasion, such squandered potential) and I deeply regret watching them all the way for something, some nugget of good when it felt like a waste of my time. I wouldn’t want Don to feel the same nor waste his time when that time could be used for other shows reactions.

There are some major/minor details that you get in them to prepare you for the next. Ms. Marvel will connect with the marvels coming out this november and the bigger MCU story. She-hulk and secret invasion will connect with captain america next year. Phase 4 was about setting new storylines and characters, Phase 5 is about different team ups, Phase 6 is about all of it coming together.

All of the evil Wanda shots look and feel like Sam Raimi Evil Dead moments. We visit numerous universes in what has got to be the laziest CG montage... compare that to the scene from the first Doctor Strange movie when the Ancient One pushes him out of his body. Overall there's been a weird shift in tone for all the Marvel movies after Avengers End Game. While past movies had their comic book moments and laughs, those were driven by the characters' personalities. In this movie, everything feels cartoonish. Evil Wanda looks like she stepped out of the well from The Grudge but Doctor Strange zombie is silly and looks like the zombie from Hocus Pocus.

As of now, the Fantastic Four movie is supposed to be in 2025 (they're supposed to film in London 👀) and there is not a set date on an X-Men film. There will be a continuation of the animated X-Men show from the 90s called X-Men '97 which is scheduled to be released early next year.
