Therefore, anything traveling between them would take 2 years, or more if they are slower than light-speed. If one could theoretically go faster than the speed of light, they could cover those 2 light-years in half a year of Earth's relative time. However, traveling faster than the speed of light is likely impossible. Even if you could, you would end up traveling faster than the information light provides can reach you, and thus you'd likely be blind as light can't bounce off other objects and reflect back to your pupils.
