Yoda does need the cane, unless he is constantly pushing force throughout his body to leap higher and move faster. Because he has such a high prowess, he can keep it up fairly long, but not forever.

The stormtroopers from the original series are not clones. You can tell the difference by the helmets and the way that clones hit their shots lmao.
