One Misconception about Hunters is that they are like "heroes" or "care about the greater good". You gotta remember, multiple of the Phantom Troupe are hunters, Gon's deadbeat father is a hunter, etc Hunters aren't always "good people" often times they are just mercenaries that will do any job for the right price, well this job is practically free. Not worth the effort. These hunters are here because of their goodwill
