I legit HATE the gaslighting in this movie! The Kree invaded, terrorized, enslaved and genocided numerous planets for centuries, which is how their own planet of Hala was so beautiful and prosperous. Then, after the Supreme Intelligence was rightfully destroyed, the Kree had a civil war and destroyed their own planet. Then they want to blame their own self destruction on Carol and go steal life sustaining resources from inhabited planets to completely genocide those 3 different civilizations yet they act like they are the victims (this Zio-Nazi story sounds eerily similar...) and then the movie pushes the idea that Carol has to make it up to the terrorist Kree and save Hala by risking her life to restart their sun? I like this movie, but that is total BS! I have no sympathy for the Kree who are nothing more than racist colonizers!

W reaction Don, hope you watch Werewolf by Night, at the very least, if you're not watching any more Marvel shows, it's like a middle point between shows and movies, hahah.

Don tbh it looks goofy but Ms marvel is worth the watch and will make her part even better. Hawkeye is also pretty great so I’d recommend watching it too.

If and when you watch it, we have much to talk about. What you should know for a start is that the Ms. Marvel series is Iman Vellani’s debut role. Her aunt told her about the auditions for the show. She had never acted before and originally didn’t plan to, but she grew up reading the Ms. Marvel comics and even cosplayed as her for Halloween. Also, the post-credit scene is a good reason to get back into the X-Men movies. The guy with blue fur is Dr. Hank McCoy. His codename is Beast, and he originally appeared in X-Men 3: The Last Stand. And the girl Kamala spoke to at the end of the movie is Kate Bishop from the Hawkeye series. Before picking up the bow and arrow, Hailee Steinfeld had voiced Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. She voiced her again in Across, and she’ll be back for Beyond. Hailee recently won an ASTRA award for best voiceover performance.
