2024-01-18 03:39:22 +0000 UTCI pretty much grew up with both video games and Mario at the same time. My first video game was Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo. I wasn’t able to finish the game, but thanks to Nintendo Switch I was finally able to do that. It also let me re-experience Donkey Kong Country. Charles Martinet, Mario’s longtime voice actor, was the voice of Mario and Luigi’s father. He also made a cameo as the guy in the pizza parlor who said their accents were perfect. He even did that cameo in Spanish for the Latin America dub. Since then though, Charles has stepped down from his role. Now he works for Nintendo as the Mario ambassador.
