Dungeons & Dragons is all of the classes and races that you hear. Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, and this film are set in the universe of what is usually played as a tabletop game. A dungeon master reads and directs the adventure, while the players take on the role of their detailed characters and roll dice for their actions.

2024-02-29 02:06:50 +0000 UTCThe movie isn’t based off a book or old movie, but rather the collective lore of all d&d. the main characters are suppose to be as if they are the characters you’ve made going on an adventure. Bard, Sorcerer, Warrior and so on. Locations like neverwinter and baulders gate exist in the world of d&d. all of the “references” are just referencing things from the d&d lore and world. D&d is a book based game. The game master reads from a book.

2024-02-28 22:39:21 +0000 UTCThis movie, im pretty sure, just takes place in the world of d&d. Races, magic, classes, abilities, towns and cities. That sort of thing. Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter are both cities in d&d. The games Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Knights are essentially d&d video games.
