These trailers, amazing as they are, did irreparable damage to the Star Wars fandom. Audiences already failed to appreciate the philosophy of Star Wars. They didn't understand the Jedi's mistake in joining the war. They didn't understand that defeating the Sith was about compassion, not power. Then we get these trailers, glorifying a war between Jedi and Sith, with the strongest combatants coming out on top. They bolster the misunderstanding that so many fans carry to this day. To this day they debate which Jedi is most powerful, which Jedi would win in a fight, totally missing the point of the whole franchise.

Nothing in that article talks about a Jedi origin story. There’s details on Acolyte, the Rey movie, and a Lando show but nothing talks about the high republic coming anytime soon. Disney is constantly changing their plans when it comes to Star Wars and Marvel. They just announced a Manodlorian game then a week after there’s rumors it’s been cancelled. Nothing can be trusted until shit gets released at this point.
