2024-04-08 21:13:44 +0000 UTCKeep in mind Will's dad was sank to the bottom of the ocean with a canon at the time the curse was still in effect so he couldn't die, but also could't free himself because of the pressure of the water keeping him from being able to move enough to free himself from the canon and get back to the surface. Davy Jones probably came across him and offered to take him on as part of his crew As for Jack being a good man... jury's out on that one lol... to be fair, yes he send Will to the flying Dutchman, but he knew Will's father was there as well, and he needed to get his hand on the key somehow while also find the chest. He needed the chest to get Jones to call of the Kraken and free Will and his father. Yes he is after his own goals, but usually with at least some sort of plan to try and help those that get caught in the crossfire... but that might just be my biased opinion. Anyway, thank you for reacting to these movies... I do hope you will find some time to watch and react to them all...

2024-04-01 20:23:33 +0000 UTCnot true dude... he never went to davey jones locker he died in the cave and tia dalma (the Caribbean lady) revived him because he has one of the pieces... and he also agreed after his resurrection to summon the pirate brethren to help release........ thats why tia dalma resurrected him and also wants them to save jack because he has another piece what they need. She said you'll need a captain who knows the water is most likely because he was the captain of the black pearl for 11 years so hes sailed around the world also (spoiler) he he doesnt know how to bring people back from the dead because the only reason they all escaped the davey jones locker was coz of jack
