I watched this in college today, honestly I was so confused for like 5 minutes but I think the spider and figure etc. are meant to represent miles' mental health, as he is shown juggling his family responsibilities, spiderman responsibilities, personal responsibilities AND school. add on the fact this is before ATSV and the fact he is still mourning Gwen and peter b parker and he is probably barely holding it together, mentally and emotionally.

The message behind this short is that there’s no fear or shame in talking to someone about what you’re going through. Even those with incredible powers like Miles have their ups and downs on the daily, but there’s no need to shoulder it alone. If you’re wondering when this takes place, it happens sometime between the two Spider-Verse movies we’ve seen so far. The third movie Beyond The Spider-Verse is in development.
