2024-04-01 09:53:19 +0000 UTC29:00 the emperor IS corrupting the republic from the inside. This was has given the chancellor “emergency powers” which is what the Jedi are worried about in episode 3. Over the course of the clone wars democracy is pretty much suspended and the stress of the war has also exposed many issues with the republic and the senate that leaves the people discontent with the galaxies politics. But the emperors most important goal is he’s turned the Jedi into soldiers, the Jedi are just political pawns of the senate. They have lost their way and it’s the first step in the emperors plan to make the Jedi look like villains in the eyes of the population so he can exterminate them all. The war is the pretext needed for palpatines plan and by playing both sides he can ensure he controls all engagements for his plans

2024-04-01 00:09:48 +0000 UTCThey dont show most of the war because its so vast. And they highlight some parts where the republic win, usualy do to the main characters being there and they cant lose as they are in the third movie. But know that the Republic is losing more then winning.

Technically, in the show, the seps are actually winning more than the republic, as they have more droids than the republic does clones, and are forcing the republic to pick and choose when and where the actually fight. Plenty of planets are under sep control, but the show can only let us see so much.

One where the bridge gets tested, and the second where the Wat Tambor tells the tactical droid to drive the citizens out of the city. Were these cut out of the reaction or are they missing from the version of the show he's watching?
