i totally agree that God is amazing, God is my favourite, its so underused considering how useful it is, most fights in Dragon Ball Super dont last as long as the Tournament of Power, meaning they dont have to focus so hard on managing their Ki without any senzu beans and stuff, so God is useful in this tournament, wink wink :)

SSJ3 drains the most because it is a flawed form, the only times we've seen it obtained is through Goku training in Other World, where living in Other World with a "dead" body frees the user from more intense physical drain, allowing them to wield greater power with less strain on the body and allowing him to even unlock the form, and through fusion. Goku didnt master SSJ3 because he simply couldn't, the form is so flawed that Goku could never master it no matter how hard he tried, he hardly ever used the form after obtaining it anyway because it was just so draining, and by the time he unlocked God Ki, there was no longer any point even trying to mess with SSJ3, i hope this clears that up :)

the reason he doesnt use Kaioken God is because God is supposed to be a strong BUT low draining form, kaioken would make the use of god for conserving stamina useless, thats why he uses blue instead, blue is stronger so the multiplier will be higher, he has mastered blue more than he has mastered god so he can use kaioken with it easier

If you want more accurate information I'd say watch some videos on how God ki and normal Ki work as well as super Saiyan. I'd say looking at power scaling videos and what if creators would give you the best info on that. My recommendations Carthus Dojo (What if guy) MasakoX (What if guy) Seththeprogrammer (Power scaler) Note: Seth had some strange allegations going on not completely sure what it was all about but in terms of his calculations and stuff with power scaling I'd say he's fairly reliable.

Ok, God ki and normal Ki are separate things. Goku unlocked god ki through the ritual but all mortals born with normal Ki. Super Saiyan God (Red form) is basically just Goku turning his god ki up without doing anything else. Super Saiyan God super Saiyan (Blue) is equivalent to Goku using his god ki to transform instead of his normal Ki. Only difference is that the way the transformations are obtained change due to the difference in ki. Super Saiyan (normal) required anger to unlock since his body hadn't yet gained the transformation. With Super Saiyan Blue he had already trained and adapted to transforming and since they learned that you can't stabilize the energy of Super Saiyan unless you control your rage and emotions using God ki is probably easier on them since god ki is naturally calm and tranquil. Note: If the form isn't stable then their transformation leaks and they don't use the full power of the form (that's why their were multiple grades to super Saiyan 1 before they mastered it). Now. . . To be honest majority of what I'm about to say are guesses but I assume that goku uses blue a lot because it basically costs nearly nothing for him to use (similar to super Saiyan 1). Since most / majority of his enemies are aware that blue is essentially supposed to be his strongest form. since blue has god ki his opponents can't actually properly scale his ki unless they look at his feats of power or see his energy spike through his aura. Goku may be using this info to get his opponents to try harder and to have them think they can beat him. In addition to that Goku really likes being challenged and seeing all of what his opponents can do, that may be reason as for why he decreases his ki so much that it barely even looks like he transformed to begin with (or in other words he does it to make it feel winnable for his weaker opponents). It may also allow for Goku to take more damage and learn so it probably helps him get more zenkai boosts. Oh note: although God ki and normal Ki are separate they can still be applied at the same time Also God ki is magnitudes more potent than normal Ki which is why super Saiyan Blue stands leagues above normal super Saiyan. But if I had to be real with you. . . The directors and show runners probably just wanted to show blue off more since it's the "new super Saiyan" (but for marketing purposes). The blue matches more with his outfit then the god red and junk. Thats what I'd assume is the real reason.

Baseline is just, ssj3 leaks way too much ki to keep up for long. He achieved it when he was dead so didn't realize the drawback until his fight with kid buu(which is why they had to use the spirit bomb cause he ran out of energy and stamina from 3). God and Blue have their own ki reserves so they have their own ki to drain. Blue uses a lot of ki to transform into out of those reserves but has less strain on his body

Not true, he can use kaioken with any transformation. SS Blue without kaioken is much stronger than God with kaioken so there's no point using it in that form especially with its downsides.

The super saiyan forms are a form of rage but the god forms aren't. Unlike the movie, they explained in the anime that they achieved blue through the application of both super saiyan and super saiyan god at the same time, which is why it's called super saiyan god super saiyan, or SSGSS. I'm pretty sure he could use kaioken with just god but it would cause more strain than just going blue since its combining a transformation and a technique at the same time. but yeah ssj3 isnt used cuz he made it when he was dead asf so it was designed to drain as much as possible since he technically didnt get tired in the afterlife. good reactions as always keep yapping it keeps it interesting 🙏

Also the reason he can only use kioken with blue is because blue is all about controlling his ki. Regular God doesn't have the ki control blue has, therefor with with a calm state of mind and damn near perfect ki control is what allows him to use kioken with blue and not red.

Goku hasn't mastered ssj3, he never figured out how to stop the form from taking so much ki. That's why vegeta never used it because he know that the form isn't useful in a fight yet. There's other reasons but that's one of the reasons for now

thats lowkey what i thought too. that ssj3 is like the super trunks form where instead of exchanging speed for power, it increases the drain of super saiyan to get even more strength, which is why is ran down the fusion timer when gotenks fused and used it.

I could be wrong but didn't goku create ssj3 when he was dead? I always the thought it caused way to much strain on an alive body for it to be worth the power gain, again I could be completely wrong.
