Yes!! You totally should check out the manga. After watching super I did the exact same thing for the first time. Never read manga in my life but blitzed my way through from OG DB to the last released Super. Holding out all hope that they'll carry on Toriyama's work in his honour soon as the story clearly has more legs 🤞🏻

So they basically added their own stuff in this instead of waiting for manga to be finished and follow with it, and this new form of Vegeta also never happened in the manga.

It suits Vegeta so well with him bein a royalty basically. Also if you wonder how strong that form is, It's on pair with Gokus SSJB Kaioken x20, so the basically gave vegeta this form just to match him with Goku at his strongest and I fckn love it. finally Vegeta got something of his own that Goku doesn't.
