Lol here’s the thing though…if he save’s him mom the timeline changes completely. Like…there’s no guarantee that things are better for Barry when goes back to the future (after saving his mom). That’s the point that was highlighted during the interaction with Reverse-Flash, when Barry says “I already have everything”. Also, if Barry had saved his mom and gone back to his original time, he also would have no memory of the changes to the timeline, so he would be going back to a time that he knows absolutely nothing about. At the end of the day, it wasn’t worth the risk. I do agree though, traveling back to do ABSOLUTELY nothing, and creating the black hole as a result was kinda dumb 😂

I'm not arguing that. What I am saying is that there are still some great villains and overall storylines past season 4. Bloodwork for example is a great. Deathstorm is another one. Personally, I even prefer seasons 6 and 8 over 3 and 4. I never said that the first two seasons are not the best of the show, but that doesn't mean that everything after is bad.
