Who tf would even want to be a hero man? Not even saying you'd be a villain cause like most people (myself included) would just use super speed for our own gain, and if he see someone in trouble obviously you can help them.

Probably speeding to other countries for lunch or to travel. If I’m only just breaking the sound barrier, imma have to just be a hero because I’m pretty sure it’d be easier to spot and track me if I did some selfish stuff.

He said something about these powers will do great things but Cisco must always remember and thank the person who gave them to him. Cisco doesn't want to thank Wells. Also the powers are deep rooted in a bunch of trauma, his first vibe was seeing himself die, that's a very scary thing to come to grips with.
