It's kind of like GCSE's then moving on to A-levels (assuming you're from england) its a huge jump in learning material and most 3rd years tend to want to focus on that if there sport isn't there main objective in life. Also in japan education is a HUGE thing. Like you're not getting far if you do badly. Most higher education places won't take you and there isn't alot of opportunities for education after unless its in uni
