He had no socks on cause its actually better to be bare foot than socks on that kind of floor as it can be slippery, Also I do like the symbolism of this scene where she is basically passing the torch in a sense to Hitoka as manager. She could of shouted to any of the boys who lets be honest would have better chances of grabbing the bag but she chose the next manager
