Unexplained human combustion sometimes happens in real life too, just infinitely less frequently than on the show. And also you die instead of turning into a weird monster thing. It is one of those things where, when it happens, scientists say "it definitely wasn't that, it just looks exactly like that and we don't know what it actually is."
