Legend Of Korra Book 1 Finale Reaction (Endgame)

The one thing I dont get about Bloodbenders is why they use it to control bodies and not just kill them. If they reverse the bloodstream, they just instantly die. Seems easier to do that than to push their blood with enough force to move the body

2023-02-25 01:22:31 +0000 UTCIdk man, book one was amazing imo. Amon is just such a good villain. Plus, the way Tarlock ended him and his bro at the same time always gives me chills.

2023-02-25 01:14:31 +0000 UTCSo noatok aka amon could find Korra under the table cause he can sense where people are hence avoiding attacks. Like toph and Lynn can see with the ground. So when his brother tarrlock put the glove on and put it over the gas tank he knew. He was crying he accepted it just before he said “your all I have left in this world” of he didn’t have his brother he had no one so he accepted it and let it happen.

2023-02-12 07:17:37 +0000 UTCYour thinking way too deep into this all aang did was return her bending and when she connected with her spiritual self it procted the avatar state

2023-02-11 02:24:15 +0000 UTCthe reason it was rushed was because close to the end of the season, the writers were told they actually only get that one season, when originally they were told they had multiple. they basically had to rush the end and solve all the problems quickly because they were told that their story is over at the end of season 1. then once season 1 was a success, they were told they get one more, but i believe the number of eps they were told kept changing, at the end of season 2 they were told they get 2 more seasons, and i think nothing changed after that, so it kinda stabilizes a bit more at that point pacing-wise

2023-02-10 16:43:44 +0000 UTCa lot of things will get explained in later episodes, in season two for example we get to see the original avatar and how the first people learned bending

2023-02-10 15:11:35 +0000 UTCYep, that was her lowest point which made her connect to her past lives

2023-02-10 15:09:58 +0000 UTCI don’t think It’s better than Book 1 but it’s alot better than people give it credit for
Jason
2023-02-10 15:08:33 +0000 UTCIt’s self explanatory for the most part. Aang can take bending. Makes sense he can perform the reverse. Connecting to the avatar state would give Korra the same ability since that’s how that works and she is literally Aang. Just in another life. It’s just bending the energy within

2023-02-10 15:07:43 +0000 UTCLegend of Korea just be speeding through things without explaining them like an anime version of a manga except there is no manga

2023-02-10 07:46:54 +0000 UTCaang did same thing that he did to ozai but reverse, he returned her bending and showed/teach how it's done.

2023-02-10 06:37:23 +0000 UTCmy guess is that once she connected with her spiritual self and talked to aang, he triggered the avatar state for her for the first time, and the avatar state allowed her to control the elements again

2023-02-10 04:12:05 +0000 UTCDon't Know if you knew but the creators said that at the end Korra was thinking about offing herself at the end and that's why Aang showed up

2023-02-10 03:44:04 +0000 UTCTarrlock dying with his brother is honestly one of the best scenes of the series i absolutely love the moment they share. Noatak knows its coming too.
Hate Us Cuz They Aint Us
2023-02-10 03:24:32 +0000 UTCThe ending of this season was very rushed, but that's because LOK was supposed to be just the one season, but then Nickelodeon ordered more episodes late into production, so that's why you feel a bit of whiplash from the ending.

2023-02-10 02:19:33 +0000 UTCAlso book 2 while many peoples least favorite, does have some of the best world building if your into that. It expands a bit more on the politics of the new world. But I know book three gonna be your favorite, too many characters are cold with it in book 3.

2023-02-10 01:45:46 +0000 UTCKorra is one of the series I absolutely adore, so I had to finally get on the patreon to get caught up with you compared to what we have on youtube right now!!! Im really glad youre enjoying it so far. I love all of the different books, and cant wait to see you react to them!!

2023-02-10 01:41:14 +0000 UTCBook 1 does a good job at introducing you to how serious this show actually is. The creators did a good job realizing when they made it that the audience who watched The last airbender also grew up and deserve to be treated as such.

2023-02-10 01:36:53 +0000 UTCThis has always been my favorite reading/interpretation of this scene as well. That feeling of 'I failed, Im the worst avatar, I can only airbend. It would be better for the world to get a new avatar who has access to all 4 elements than to be stuck with me'

2023-02-10 01:33:03 +0000 UTCYea so ending was a lil cheesy but glad you still liked it.

2023-02-10 01:11:24 +0000 UTCIn my opinion book 2 is better than book 1 but my absolute favorite is book 3 🔥🔥

2023-02-10 01:10:58 +0000 UTCThis show was meant to end after season 1. That's why they wrapped up all of the story lines.

2023-02-10 00:59:27 +0000 UTCTo be fair season 2 gave lots of new backstory to things that we did not know before but I do find myself skipping some episodes whenever I re-watch it.

2023-02-10 00:49:45 +0000 UTCImagine the amount of money Korra could make from a bending retrieval business with all the people who lost it to Amon
KR 🥷🏾🔥
2023-02-10 00:48:31 +0000 UTCAang taught her to energy bend, which is what he did to Ozai. As for why she could airbend after Amon took away her bending, the stress caused by Amon’s attack on Mako opened the chakra and gave Korra her spiritual connection to air.
Jarod
2023-02-10 00:46:41 +0000 UTCThere's an interesting theory that Korra was so depressed that she went to the cliff to jump and unalive herself. The tear falling was symbolic of her falling and the gleam of light was hope in the form of Aang showing up.

2023-02-10 00:46:37 +0000 UTCYess! This is my favorite episode in all of Season 1. From now I’d like to let you know Season is a little rough around the middle and ending part but it’s still good if Season 1 was a 10/10 Season 2 is like a 6/10 3 is in a league of its own that shits like 20/10. BTW Korra can airbend because when he took her bending she didn’t have the ability to airbend yet she got it afterwards. He blocked all her bending chi but there was no air bending to block

2023-02-10 00:20:46 +0000 UTCYay. Edit: That's the first proper scene of "not a kids show" - at the end with the boat. There's so many more though.
