2023-06-07 01:11:18 +0000 UTCBtw if you haven't picked up on it by now, each member of the Seven Deadly Sins committed a "sin" that sentenced them to prison/death before Meliodas took custody of them (in most cases). This episode reveals Diane's "sin" for killing Matrona out of envy (which the humans made up) - hence Diane, Sin of Envy. We already know that King was sentenced to prison for basically his laziness as Fairy King, because he was away while his best friend Helbram killed all those humans over hundreds of years - hence King, Sin of Sloth. Ban's "sin" was stealing the fountain of youth - hence Ban, Sin of Greed. Although we know he ended up falling in love with Elaine and she gave it to him, but I don't think anyone believed that. Meliodas is the Sin of Wrath, Merlin is the Sin of Gluttony, and Gowther is the Sin of Lust, so make sure to look out for their "sins" in future seasons :)
