making my first publicaly paid Avatar: The Dragon π²ππ¦π¦π

After such a long time with ups and downs, and things trying to push me down while i pull myself up using my passion as a rescue rope, i can finally say that i am working on something HUGE and AMAZING.
Not only is this a huge thing for me but for all you guys as well. this public avatar is quiet the Mega-project, i can put as much of my own creative liberty into the Project without time-pressure or deadlines, which will ensure for the best outcome.
I've been told that there are not enough good Dragon like Avatars for VR applications,
i thought it would be a great opportunity to throw my own 2 cent in, hoping to ease the dilemma of choices amongst the 3D assets out there.
I am currently in the midst of making an Avatar that checks all these conditions.
you can take a look at the making of this avatar with the screenshots in this Post, i have a few things to tell about some of them.
I decided to have this post not exclusive for patrons, so more people can see what awaits them in the near future. π

there are white red and purple sections of the screenshots. the white ones are the start of the project where the red one was part of a vote before i moved on with what everyone voted on and moved over to the other parts of the model which are the purple ones.
in the white section, you can see that i was going over the face a few times until it felt right, with the help of some people and their thirdperson view on it.
the screenshots showing two versions side by side was part of a vote, where i asked what people wanted more, scale plate underside of a more muscle defined underside.
the voting was pretty balanced with more people preferring the more traditional feral look of actual Dragons underside with the pronounced scales.
the flat faced shading shows a more readable topology, where i took the muscular one and extruded the scales ontop, which a lot seemed to prefer.
i decided to come up with customization options later on for people to chose from, using some blendshape and shader magic :D
so i moved on with the more defined look for now and opened a vote with a lot of pictures for how the lower part of the body should look like, the poll can be found here:

the vote was between a more feral and more natural look of the crotch and hips area, with the underside continuing to the Tailbase and resuming its length down the Tail, and a more anthro-style Hip, where the legs are way closer together and the tail is seemingly coming out from the middle of the spine like you see very often on those extremly humanified anthro pictures they draw.
the vote was kept on 50%50 untill the end where it ended on the red option, the more feral look.
i moved on with the feral style and went Ham on the muscle definitions and details.
there is going to be two versions of the Feet, 3 Toes and 4 Toes for people to choose from.
the 3 Toes one is inspired by my own Fursona/Avatar
This is only one of many separate mesh options that people can swap around and mix n match to their hearts content.

The Avatar is going to be available on my Gumroad and if all goes well maybe even on my patreon, with everything included in one package, no separations.
there is going to be a lot more customization on him, including SFW and NSFW options and clothing,
Aswell as the option to have Wings, Horns, Pawpads, Feathers n Fluff on specific places on the Body, or not.
there is a lot more to come, and i cannot wait to release that Badboy to all you guys.
