Try to think about it from a human point of view. BOTH Tommy AND Oliver were wild bad boys and after Oliver returned from his 5 year hiatus, a changed man (and not necessarily for the better) he just assumes that Tommy has not and would not ever change! Tommy used that money to protect Oliver's secret. And you literally just said that because Tommy didnt tell him about the bribe money that Oliver has a right to doubt Tommy, but Oliver lied t Tommy (and is still lying to everyone else around him) so does Tommy not have a more justified reason to doubt Oliver?
