Valid criticisms from both comic book fans, and TV show fans, I should know I'm both and kept up with the media surrounding the show when I watched episode by episode. The only people who defended all that garbage were Grant Gustin stans, and reactors glazing the show just to not lose fans and money. All of the above was objectively and irrefutably bad. Also, I don't deny that there's great episodes in the later seasons, even if most of them relied on nostalgia, cameos, and some comic book lore, but a couple of good episodes a season don't save the season in it's entirety. There's definitely episodes worth watching, but that's it.

People can like something that's objectively bad. Take The Room for example, a garbage of a film that a lot of people still like because according to them "it's so bad, it's good." That doesn't take away from the fact that it's still bad. Also, me saying "no" is my opinion. It's my opinion that he should not watch season 5 since according to him, he only wanted to watch the good seasons of the show, don literally said that when he started the flash. Don't put words in ma mouth. People can like what they want, that doesn't make it good content. Like bruh c'mon people be shitting on arrow and nobody says anything, I criticize what's objectively bad about the flash and suddenly I'm the bad guy. Flash fans literally made don quit watching arrow, which is the main reason I subscribed and paid for, but I'm the one that doesn't let people enjoy what they like? 🙄

The writers didn't even trust themselves to turn her into an interesting villain like in the comics and leave team flash without Caitlin, so what do they do? Split her into 2 different people only for killer frost to still be a good guy and end up helping team flash. Bring back arrow bruh the flash only gets worse from here, both in writting, and acting.

Reason being is that they're essentially PIs which are essentially detectives except the difference is that they report to a news company rather than a police man and will often be the ones to bring new evidence to police. But you are right about journalists in general because they aren't investigative journalists. There are differences
