2024-12-15 23:36:02 +0000 UTCepisode 24. The avenging angel crashing through the window- damn fantastic! Can you believe that FOXTV cancelled the Show after this? Thank god for the millions who joined the #saveLucifer and thank you Netflix for saving LUCIFER! Episodes 25 and 26 were filmed by FOXTV before they decided to cancel and were to be in a season 4. However, once it was cancelled, FOXTV released them as 'bonus' episodes. Netflix with season 4,5 and 6 allowed the scriptwriters to take the story more into areas they wanted to without the restraints of FOXTV. The scriptwriters have said in a few interviews though, that the 'bonus' episodes should be seen as canon. Episode 25 could have fitted into season 3 quite well somewhere around episode 15 but episode 26 is a complete stand-alone. Some reactors don't bother watching them although episode 25 'Boo Normal' does link to something in season 5. It does break the flow of the story as they do not fit after episode 24 and many would rather go straight into season 4! Reactors choice!

Lucifer knows what every woman ( and men) want because he can use his skill and read their desires but he can not read Chloe at all as she is immune to his 'special desire talent' and this totally leaves him at a loss making mistakes all the time. Also, millennia in hell, feeling unwanted and unloved, must have made him suppress every emotion in order to survive- on earth all these new emotions and feelings are hard for him to understand and yes- he is a slow learner in this ,but is gradually getting there. Lucifer won't show Chloe his angel wings because he rejects his angelic side (thinking God has forced it back upon him) but still feels like the devil and needs people, especially Chloe to accept him and in his own words 'his monstrous side.' and for who he thinks he really is- the Devil. I think, and Linda guessed, that he is terrified that if Chloe really 'knew' him she would as he said- run away and he doesn't want to lose her. It has been this fear, I think as well as his' Daddy' issues that have made him act the way he has. up until now. The ending of this episode breaks me every time I see it! Heartbreakingly poignant and powerful and the music at the end is amazing. In fact all the music in Lucifer is chosen very carefully and kudos to the production team!

It’s just been established that it’s got nothing to do with your actions but rather how you view yourself. So I doubt a cheap insincere confession would actually clear charlottes conscience. And her being in the know about Lucifer and Amenadiel means she knows that simply confessing doesn’t actually mean anything.
