Ya, this is a good one and you nailed it. Maze and Lucifer are not mad at Chloe because she is still scared, they are mad because she chose to hurt them in her fear. Linda never did that. They would have been fine if she just ran, but Chloe made a plan to hurt and lie to them even though Maze and Lucifer never lied to her.

Plan to take Lucifer back to hell was Father Kinley's idea and not Chloe's, she probably was in church crying or something and then Father Kinley found Chloe and started manipulating her after he heard about Lucifer from Chloe.
