2025-02-02 22:26:15 +0000 UTCits usually with illegal sites, where the subtitles were manually placed on the video, and the person just couldnt be bothered, OR, where the subs were auto generated, so it doesnt care about the other language i watched whichever thor movie has the dark elves, on an illegal site, it didnt have the subs for the dark elves talking.....i just assumed i wasnt supposednto know what they were saying, til like 1/2 way through where i was like "okay, i feel like i HAVE to know what theyre saying, they been talking wayyyy too much for none of it to be translated, lemme check a diff site" and lo and behold, i was just a dumbass lmao....still not a great movie, but trust its even worse when you're missing all the villain's dialogue lmao

2025-02-01 23:45:33 +0000 UTCYooo Don. It depends on the streaming service but usually if you turn off subtitles completely then the translation will appear. I think it’s because having English subtitles on will overlap with the translation which is why it doesn’t show.
