We better be getting 8-10 episode or at least more than one episode. It was so consistent at one point and now almost 1 every few days this is ridiculous

This is the difference between you and Don bc you’re both watching for the first time but you understand the context of this show, Don think because he is a true alpha that’s it, he doesn’t take to account that Scott is 17 years old and has been an alpha for 5 min compared to the other alphas we have seen+ they all had boosted powers bc they killed thier own and Derek is born werewolf who has had a lifetime’s of experience. Scott main goal isn’t to kill so he never uses the full force of his powers because of that fear that he might kill someone. This is the problem with Don he complains over and over again but never think for a second about these important facts. Yes i understand that it’s frustrating but what the point of the show if Scott just beats everyone he faces. I do agree that Scot’s is losing twice as much as he is winning but everything has its own time but Don is not a patient guy as we can all see. Also he complained all last season about Isaac and now he misses him😂😂😭 you can’t make this up🤦🏾‍♂️

One more note. The Alphas with the big Alpha abilities who could or can fight ferociously - Deucalion, Kali, Peter, and now Satomi - have been Alphas for many years and are full-on adults with life experience. Ethan and Aiden had Deucalion to teach them, and they were also stronger when merged. Compare that to Scott, who has been an Alpha a few months and is 17 years old. And Derek, who while an adult, was only an Alpha for a short time and was learning on his own, because his mother was gone and Peter was no help. Kate can fight like a mo'fo because she is something else altogether, I think (I'm watching this for the first time, too). She is a Werewolf as far as I know, but she is clearly a different kind, and she has the Berserkers, as well as her own lifetime of hunter training. It's a little unfair to compare Scott to them yet. He's just not in their league. Yet. I feel we're going to see a lot more from him as the series progresses. It wouldn't be as interesting if he started off as an amazing Alpha; he has to grow into his abilities. We're seeing it happen. The pushing through the white ash barrier, the denial of the thermal wire, and now using his Alpha eyes to "see" through his blindness, as Deucalion once did. It's happening, but it's not going to be all at once. That would be a tad boring, I think, LOL.

Of all the supernaturals, Lydia is the most alone. She has literally no one to teach her how to access her Banshee abilities, which she only acquired about a year ago. Malia has Werewolves to help her with her transformations. Kira has her mother to help her learn to be a Kitsune. Scott, while not having the greatest of role models to learn to be a proper Alpha Werewolf, still has some guidance. Kate now has Peter apparently. Liam has Scott and Stiles to help him. Lydia is alone. Meredith was too unstable, and Peter isn't a Banshee; his offers to help are laced with conditions based on his own wants and who knows if he actually knows how to guide her. He's a Werewolf, not a Banshee. We also need to remember these are teenagers. Lydia, Scott, Stiles, Malia, Kira, Liam...they are ALL less than 18 years old. Liam is only 15 years old. Teens alternate between immaturity and maturity, teetering between childhood and adulthood. They don't always make the best choices. They don't have the life experience to have learned from mistakes. They don't have the wisdom that comes with gradual aging. I think this show actually does a great job depicting the impulsivity, stupidity, creativity, defiance, bravery, and insecurity that are bundled into a typical teenage package. Scott's Alpha abilities came through at the end, showing that he does have that extra, elusive "something" that sets him apart. But he's not always going to be able to show that because he IS young and immature still in many ways. He's already come a looooong way from Season 1.

being a true alpha doesn't give you special abilities that other alphas dont have bro, scott's just a regular alpha its just called "true alpha" because he became one on his own without stealing another alphas power. he doesn't have anything special about him
