I really hate how they (mainly Stefan and Elena, but really all of them) go around staying everyone else in the back then turn around and treat the ones they betrayed like they are the untrustworthy ones.

2025-08-18 00:46:19 +0000 UTCI have always thought about the idea of drugs when it comes to supernatural beings that can heal. You see Katherine going on a bender, drinking till she drops. But they never actually drop and never have hangovers. Their brains heal from the damage it gets during the usage of drugs. In theory, if they do in fact get drunk, (which is being poisoned) I don't think they could get very drunk. Furthermore, other drugs might be very fun and non addictive, thanks to the healing factor. Removing toxins from the body and allowing the natural chemicals to produce the desired effects. Vampires could be heroin addicts and never see an issue with it. They could do meth and be the most wild gangster imaginable. (Especially with one of the daylight rings). Like all the degenerate and wild possibilities man. The supernatural world would be much more grimy than we get to see in this show. Another show, True Blood, showcases this nicely. Maybe one day we can convince Don to watch it.

2025-06-30 23:14:16 +0000 UTCIt'll be several episodes before Don reads comments on prior ones, but I would like to note that I think what Elijah was saying to Elena, that if a witch could channel enough energy to kill an Original, thereby killing the witch also, then that witch could kill Klaus without dying herself IF Klaus was already weakened. The ritual of breaking the curse would render Klaus more vulnerable as he transitioned into his true Hybrid self, and then the witch could take him out without sacrificing her own life.
