February Topic Discussion - Need Your Help! (Q&A)

Hey frands, hope everyone is in good spirits! Can't believe January is officially over lol where did all our time go?

I get a ton of good questions on IG about art-related topics, things related to the creative process, mental/art blocks etc and I'd like to do a more in-depth discussion about it on here, because I CAN! :D (It's very difficult to do this elsewhere).

When I first started this whole digital art thing, one of the things I really wish I had was a community or peers who were going through the same struggles as myself. I know plenty of professional artists who exited their "learning phase" and are doing amazing work, and it is almost frustrating that I just don't know how they got there, and I felt like I was making no progress in my rookie season.

But over the past year, I'd like to think I have discovered a lot in regards to being both a student and a creator in the creative field, and hope my brief experience can help at least one of you who may be going through the same thing!

So for our first discussion, what would you guys like to talk about? You can also comment or DM me if you have any specific questions! Let's give this a go. See you all in a bit :)

Thank u gurlfren 😘 i have no doubt burn out is something everyone has experienced before, its just one of those things that are so common that funny enough no one talks about it in detail anymore. Seems to be the fav topic out of the 3 tho so we shall see!! :D

Oh yea i shouldve explained better what Imposter Syndrome is! Its basically the feeling that you are not good despite evidence of success, and not just self-doubt on its own. These days I’m doing a lot better, these are just some of the things that i think everyone goes through when they are creating one way or another, its inevitable i feel πŸ˜… thank u for the encouragement tho! 🀍

I think the 3rd and 1st sound a bit similar. Honestly, you're giving yourself quite a bit of doubt. It's okay to feel burnt out, it's okay to want to take a break to focus on your technique and stuff, it's okay to stop and take a breather. Just remember, take a break before you need it. Take one small step at a time and results will show πŸ’―

That second question is definitely something that I feel a lot of creators struggle with, so I'm excited to see what can come out of that. Although, all topics sounds great to work through together as a community!
