Bonus Stuff: Anatomy Study

Hey guys, I know some of us here are learning artists like myself so I hope you may find this useful! 

So I just wanted to mention that practice does NOT make perfect, you kinda have to practice correctly. I know it sounds obvious, but it's easy to forget this when we're always caught up with volume and not the quality of what we're doing. When you're practicing, focus and observation is extremely important. Your art is not going to magically get better if you keep grinding without much knowledge of what you're doing right or wrong, that's why studies are so important. One way to ensure you retain as much correct info as possible is to keep repeating what you just learned, and correct yourself every time you see a mistake. Do NOT let yourself repeat the same mistakes over and over, or you'll have the added step of unlearning them later and that makes things a lot harder. Of course you're not gonna get it right and perfect all the time, we're not machines, but the idea is to be conscious and aware of what you're doing wrong so it doesn't become a habit that is difficult to break. Keep doing this until your head noodle recognises the pattern of your subject, and eventually it'll come naturally. This is a very long process, I'm talking years xD but trust me, it does get easier.

P.S. this does not apply only to art, it applies to everything in your life that you're trying to git gud at.

Drawing Reunion made me realise the lack of structural integrity in my drawings lol. I get really frustrated when I can't even draw the most simple poses right, but it's ok, it's just a sign that I haven't practiced enough. Plus, that's not really surprising, I did skip a lot of the fundamentals :P and these days I find myself needing to unlearn a lot of my bad drawing habits that are rooted in mistakes that I never bothered to correct early on cuz I was lazy :D so DON'T REPEAT MY MISTAKE, YOU CAN DO BETTER.
