Thats a little bit too standard for my taste but okay :D Maybe an obstacle course using magical spells and enchanted devices etc. That would be interesting.

Crazy how you had so much to say here vs the timberwolves episode ๐๐. A testament as to why that one wasnโt as good. But of course we love the continuity!!! Hmm Iโm not sure. Gotta assume theyโd have a race/sprint and a strength test. Would love to see this as an episode!

2024-05-20 06:37:05 +0000 UTC"Games Ponies Play" shows the mane six traveling to the Crystal Empire to welcome the Equestria Games inspector. However, they mistakenly welcome a tourist, instead of the real inspector, Ms. Harshwhinny. This mix-up causes several misunderstandings. Despite the initial confusion, the real inspector is eventually impressed by the Crystal Empire's hospitality and selects it as the next venue for the Equestria Games. Also we go into the continuity of previous events of the Season 2 Premiere: We see Princess Cadence and Shining Armor again and travel to the Crystal Empire. We also get to see the Crystal Heart which is again recharged by the Crystal Ponies cheer after hearing the positive outcome resulting in another Aurora Borealis. - Some further notes/thoughts/facts: - This episode serves as a counterpart to the previous episode which is a nice twist. - It's a shame that Netflix had to mix this up... which strangely lines up with the topic of this episode ๐ How was Netflix even able to mess this up the way they did..?! ๐ก Also they often did weird things with their audio, it wasnt your fault ๐ฃ I also love Continuity!!! Sadly, we didn't see the Mane Six's crystal form ๐ It is not a good idea to train sport related routines on a moving train... but no... nobody listens to Applejack... In the flashback (1:40) you can see Rainbows father! ๐ Wow Rainbow Dash you are making foals cry ๐ - Its like it was a traumatic event to her, that Cloudsdale lost the raffle. But if you thing about it... The Equestria Games are for every pony-race... but only pegasi can walk on clouds... - there was no way it could have worked out :o The ceremonial Headdress seems to be quite a difficult stunt for Rarity - All the Tools she uses to get that hair done... even a drill... It was bound to be messed up. - But i can see why that Headdress was so complicated, but it looks good. I love that messenger-pony design, it was very unique, i also want these Hermes-Shoes ๐คฉ It's good to see Cadence and Twilight knowing each other so well and getting along. I also like how she teaches Twilight to step back and calm down to make the right decisions on things and it seems to work. It's interesting to see Twilight so calm and humming while trotting between the Spa and the Inspector - thats a rare occurence. And here we have Ms. Peachbottom, a tourist from Mustangia (Yes a new place! and i love these wordplays), falsely mistaken as Inspector who is just visiting the Empire, receiving a warm and grand welcome. While on the other side is the true Games-Inspector Ms. Harshwhinny, who is having a harder time going around... Why does the Crystal Empire have so much puddles to get wet by? ๐ It seems Ms. Peachbottom is claustrophobic and altocelarophobic (afraid of high ceilings)... Oof, Rainbow Dash is over-analyzing everything that the wrong inspector does and setting up false flags... Considering all their nervous faces it doesnt seem to go all too well back at the Spa... Princess Cadance: "So, uh... how's it going so far?" Rarity: "Oh, I'm so sorry... It's just... oh so complicated. [laughs nervously] I can fix it!" Princess "Cadance: Fix what?!" Rarity: "Well, I-I was looking for shortcuts and I thought step twelve was optional! But it's not!" After Twilight enters: Rarity: "You can't! You mustn't! She's in the middle of a delicate conditioning rinse that must go perfectly if there's to be any hope for her hair!" Twilight Sparkle: "Come on, how bad can it be?" Rarity: "Imagine her mane turned into a porcupine." (turning Twi's mane literally into a porcupine hairstyle) ๐คฃ Hey this welcome performance was well done... well except for Pinkies cannon blasting them away ๐ Yeah, we need more duo-episodes... ๐ Twilight and Rainbow Dash together would be an interesting case... Ms. Peachbottom knows stuff about architecture... But Pinkie not so much: "so u see this here this um this is um a big ROUND room it's known for its roundness and biggest and did I mention that its ROUND" ๐คฃ How is Twilight so chipper!? It somehow is too adorable! ๐ Wow... Ms. Peachbottom is outrunning the atletic track-team of the Empire! ๐ฎ The scene when RD is bumping into the glas-ceiling of the spa, while rarity is suspiciously looking around like... "Was there something?" was way too funny. The moment they realized that they fucked up! And asked about her name... they should have asked that first if they know the real name..! Luckily Ms. Peachbottom and Ms. Harshwhinny exchanged their experience with their welcome and Ms. Peachbottom's unvarnished, unrehearsed and unbiased appraisal of potential convinces the true Inspector to declare the Empire as the next venue for the Equestria Games. --- It was a simple but solid 5/10 episode with some predictable twists but overall a nice little adventure to the Crystal Empire with good jokes. There was no real lesson here, but that is okay. Your reaction was great as always - thank you. Still, it is a bummer that you had to watch it in the wrong order ๐ What do you think the different events in the games might be? - It is a world of magic after all with 3 different races.

2024-05-19 15:02:48 +0000 UTCCan technically be seen as a fun two part episode with the spike perspective and the game inspector. I agree maybe just typical mistake high jinks but it was done in a fun way. And I loved going back to the Crystal empire since itโs continuity!

2024-05-17 06:46:19 +0000 UTCI Know some people may not like this episode because itโs simple but I love it, itโs such a fun episode concept, and it was so funny lol watching the fake games inspector go crazy and run like that, it always makes me laugh when I watch it again, I like mix ups like this in shows, and I liked at the end how both of the fake and real inspector happened to be next to each other at the spa, itโs not impossible weird stuff like that does happen Iโve had experiences like someone I knew just happened to be at a place I was going to. Or like running into the same person multiple times in a day, great episode also I did enjoy the connection between the two episodes Iโm sorry Netflix ruined that for you hopefully thereโs no more episodes out of order on there.
