It is the same colt. They didn't use pieces of the original gun to make a new one, Bobby just took apart the original Colt to see how it worked and Ruby helped him figure out how to make more bullets that would fit inside and complete the spell and then they put the gun back together and put the bullets inside.

2023-05-18 03:55:11 +0000 UTCThe original stories don't have happy endings. I'm not sure exactly when the movie of the Brothers Grimm came out, but the Grimm books came out way before the movie. So, you can't really compare this episode to that movie.
