True. Felt the episode did a good job at showing FS holding them back and then accepting it but then the breezies took advantage of her niceness which was at question and resolved in the end. So I definitely get it

I think this episode isn’t as bad as I look back on it. I know the direction and messages they were trying to get at and it’s important for Fluttershy but just wish it was maybe done better. A bit scattered and all over the place
Ooo doctor who reference. I haven’t seen it but nice nod!
The voice made me not have any empathy as rude as that sounds 😂😂😂
Yes I’ve noticed a pattern. This could maybe have to do with the keys in some way? Or maybe something happens when they all experience it (I forget if where I’m at everyone has felt it)

In parts i agree with Pinkie_applepie here, but it wasn't just that the Breezies tricked Fluttershy into letting them stay, it was also that Fluttershy herself partly wanted them to stay in a way, some instances in this episode had this very undertone:
- "Time flies when you're making sure little creatures don't feel that you're abandoning them to the cruel world."
- Also the way Fluttershy reacted to all these inquiries by her friends about if the breezies are ready to proceed were slightly indicating her personal objection to let them go.
The problem is, that it wasn't obvious enough and that's why its easily overlooked.

"It Ain't Easy Being Breezies" is an episode about empathy, leadership, and the complexities of caring for others. Also we get to see some worldbulding and visit the Breezie World.
- Some notes/thoughts/facts: -
No we never have seen Breezies before, but these are mentioned in "Three's a Crowd" S4x11 when Fluttershy was allowed to make a trip to them.
Oh this start is a counterpart reference to the "Sonic Rainboom" (S1x16) Episode where Rainbow Dash taught Fluttershy ho to cheer loud XD
It had to be spike doing this interruption, but it was quite nice to see Flutterhy jumping into action like that.
AJ nearly killed a Breezie by stepping on one...
"Time flies when you're making sure little creatures don't feel that you're abandoning them to the cruel world.", Wow Fluttershy is teaching Kids about that 😅
Also this was one of the point that led me to believe that the Breezies didn't just trick Fluttershy into letting them stay; part of her actually wanted them to remain. This and other subtle undertones are evident in several moments throughout the episode, especially Fluttershy's reactions to her friends inquiries about whether the Breezies are ready to leave subtly indicate her personal reluctance to let them go.
Do you know the time-traveling series Doctor Who? At 14:23 a pony with a hourglass cutie mark is seen here, he was also seen since Season 1 and got it's name Dr. Hooves (Whooves) by the fandom due to his resemblance to said Dr. Who in the previous mentioned series. Him trotting alongside another pony who is called Rose (or Roseluck) was a reference to Rose Tyler, a companion of both the Ninth and Tenth Doctors in Doctor Who. This was a huge nod to the fandom.

Also seeing Dr. Hooves (Whooves) wearing anaglyph 3D glasses is a reference to the tenth incarnation of his namesake.
The language of these Breezies is somewhat reminiscent of Swedish or Norwegian. But noone is truly sure, because it is very unintelligible.
The transformation into Breezies was strange... because you're not used to it. Also it could have been done in any other way... but... "hey look: The mane 6 are breezies now... BUY OUR TOYS!" 😉
The voice is annoying, no question, but thats how Breezies talk...
---
Seabreeze is very insulting here, but it's understandable considering that he want's to go home (because he had a wife and baby there), while the others seem rather reluctant and trying to stay by deceiving Fluttershy, which she is gladly taking cause she loves the Breezies and is too concerned and too kind to let them go... but she was also self-deceiving herself because she wanted them to stay. - And i think that was the point that was addressed here between Seabreeze and Fluttershy. Fluttershy learned that kindness doesn't only take the shortterm nice measures at heart but also the longterm harsher ones if needed. - Fluttershy recognizes this through another epiphany.
I get it, the message was a little bit confusing, but it wasn't that wrong either. It could have been made clearer, but it's a difficult one to teach the right way. And some criticized it for its execution. Some said Fluttershy's handling of her authority was seen as exemplary, while others felt she didn't articulate her argument well. I am somewhere in the middle and understand why you're having a hard time with it.
Well this concludes this episode, some found it confusing and some even hated it because it somewhat was slow or dragging in parts. I think it was still a decent'ish episode.
Thanks for reacting to this 💙
I hope your throat is getting better soon :)

BTW.: It's the 4th occurrence that an epiphany happened in this season - What do you think about the meaning behind it? - Ah you answered it... it's like you read my mind 😂 - Yes it activated each time their very element was taken into question and they had to make a decision. - So what do you think about why this happens now?

Very mixed episode. Seems they missed a lot of aspects here and the messages come off, off? And you’re right the breezies get no accountability. Fluttershy gets put into this light of holding them back. I know it’s you need to be firm with them in these situations but they could’ve gone about it better. And yes the voice was so annoying and sort of cursed 😂

I think fluttershy wasn’t being to kind at all, she wanted them to go a bunch they were being super clingy and was tricking her to let them stay the message was odd and mixed for me too I agree with you I’ve always thought that this lesson could’ve been done better if wanted to do it all, like in what way in a real prospective could being to nice to a person or animal hurt them, fluttershy is the element of kindness that’s her thing to be kind and caring plus she’s so good with animals, also fluttershy kinda got blamed for it and the rest of breezies didn’t really apologize and learn from the mistake they made I did like that sea breeze apologized for being so mean, lol also the voice wasn’t my favorite either, and seeing them as breezies was crazy the whole fandom agreed it was kinda cursed lol
