Uuuugly dresses honestly ππ
Yes I love how realistic the sibling affairs go since both sides are in the right.
LUNA! Sorry if I fan boy over her. I love dreams and she comes in again and unexpectedly here. Then for her to reveal the actual events of the memory showed the memory bias and errors we create. Amazing stuff.
Oooo that is interesting with the common themes. Then scoot A Lu in the bit we have seen has always been more personal and short comings based. Nice nice. Love it
Agree! Loved a lot of what this episode did as it was dramatic, honest, and painful. Iβm glad you enjoy my Luna train ππ

"For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils" is a heartfelt journey with Sweetie Belle as she grapples with jealousy, regret, and the powerful lessons of empathy and understanding. It's also a rollercoaster of emotions, magical dream therapy with best princess LUNA!, and the deepening bond of sisterhood between Sweetie Belle and Rarity.
- Some notes/thoughts/facts: -
Sapphire Shores, the pony of pop, was first seen in Season 1 "A dog and pony show" after the Diamond Dog abduction after that she made some cameo appearances in the background.
Now... it's not about being rude... these are damn ugly :o
And let's face it: if you ask Rarity to do anything fashion related... you know you're in for an complete overhaul per excellence...
Sometimes, even well-intentioned actions can be misunderstood, especially if your sibling feels overshadowed by you and thinks it's deliberate. This is how some relationships get strained.
And some may think Sweetie Belle is overreacting, but itβs understandable considering sheβs still young. Children often lack the experience and foresight to fully grasp situations and can have a narrow perspective.
Dream therapy with Luna is a nice touch! Lunaβs ability to empathize with Sweetie Belle, due to her own experiences with her sister shining more brightly, is poignant. She truly understands Sweetie Belle's feelings. But, Luna's ability to reveal the truth to Sweetie Belle raises the question of how she knew about it. Perhaps Rarity had dreamed of it sometime before or she is able to read minds. π²
Also this negative colored sequence was very ominous and this whole nightmare with rarity was a crazy frightening bit. π¨
While a direct conversation between Rarity and Sweetie Belle might have been better, the scene with Luna provided a nice moment. So, overall, it worked well in my opinion π
I think as an Alicorn who is (kinda) immortal (we don't really know) and is able to live over millenias and more, it should be possible to take up on some hobbies like sewing and such π
Now, when you think about all the lessons the Cutie Mark Crusaders learned that weren't just about their cutie marks, you'll notice something interesting. Sweetie Belle's episodes often show how growing up can change your relationship with your siblings, while Apple Bloom's episodes focus more on the general fear, dread, and anxiety that come with growing up itself.
---
This concludes this episode which successfully delves into the complexities of sibling relationships, particularly jealousy and reconciliation. The involvement of Princess Luna as a mentor in Sweetie Belle's dreams adds a fantastical and educational layer to the narrative, showcasing the importance of understanding and rectifying one's mistakes. While the episode received some mixed reviews regarding Sweetie Belle's portrayal, it ultimately emphasizes the value of generosity and forgiveness.
I like how this episode stands out for its character development and the meaningful lessons it imparts. And the appearance and incorporation of Luna made it even better!
Overall it was a great episode with a decent message. - I thank you for reacting to this! π It was a bliss to watch you fawning over Luna, as i do π
