Yes rarity still has spike around her finger which is a bit conflicting especially since spike is a simp ππ . But loved the dark magic inclusion and the message of getting too obsessed and power hungry. And the friend message was great but was hard to get out since there were some romantic fears for spike.

Mr. Robin: "[distressed chirping]" Fluttershy: "You're lost? No, not that way, that looks like it's the door to a... bedroom. Try that one over there. No, no, that leads to a..." [door slams] Fluttershy: "Shoe closet? Oh, dear. Maybe try the staircase? Oh, no-no-no, the other staircase." π€£ The dark blue foal with teal mane was "Lightning Flare": https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/3/37/Lightning_Flare_ID_S4E19.png She didn't just created stuff no she changed and swapped ponies themselves... The book changes and creates things... just because it has green magic doesn't mean that there is a changeling involved ππ - But a spell that could create anything out of nothing still had to come with a price... I dont know why, but a frazzled Twilight is an adorable Twilight π --- To have an obsession about something can turn into a truly horrible situation, if said person isn't able to constrain himself anymore... its even quite dangerous, because you begin to neglect everything else, disregarding or even harming others. The message was also a good one: Don't be afraid to tell your friends the truth if you dislike something they do. - A good friend wont held it against you. As you said, they should know that you care about them. - But in reality the problem remains that not everyone likes to get criticized for stuff they do... and even react sometimes in a manner thats questionable and problematic for maintaining ones friendship... As to the relationship between Spike and Rarity, this is a difficult one, Rarity knows exactly whats up with spike and may even use him sometimes because of that through utilizing well made compliments etc. - Spike on the other hand was lovestruck and oblivious at first, but is now considering Rarity to be his foremost friend out of the Mane 6.
