These mostly focus the princesses because these videos were kinda a story about them and how they came to be - especially on Luna, considering that she didn't have much of an impact in the show until now and i know that you like her very much :) 1. "The Beginning of Harmony": Its a partially canon Story about Celestia and Luna, who had to leave their original Home which was destroyed by the Windigos (That destroying light the sky) and had to flee and were rescued. The second time, while fighting against the other ponys, these Windigos came again and Celestia tried to destroy them, but couldnt. But the sudden unity of two opposing ponies drove the Windigo away with the red beam... (I am sorry i should have been more specific here telling you what it is, but i think i told you that its about Celestia and the unity of the pony tribes) 2. "Harmony Ascendant": Is an Ode about how Celestia and Luna brought Harmony by controlling the Day and Night, after Defeating Discord. The Text sung here is in the video description, in case you want to look it up. 3. "Children of the Night": Is you could say a short while after Harmony Ascendant where the princesses were praised for bringing back harmony after Discord was defeated, but Equestria suffered a lot and the lost children (orphans, a result through wars and reign of chaos) had to endure hard times the following years. Luna wanted to give them a better life but Celestia was against it, because she feared it would weaken Equestria even more - but Luna did it anyway, you could say it was the first rift between them. There are lot's of FanFictions about this topic. (It's absolutely not canon, but i thought it may be a nice representation of animation and music about Luna, which fitted quite nice into the narrative of this little journey 😅) 4. "Spare": Is about Luna and her inferiority against Celestia when she was younger, most may have thought about her as a spare because she was seldom seen at day, watching over the night, while Celestia did her daily reign which was seen by most. (You are right it was pretty upbeat, but i also think she was just hyping up herself, but you know aswell, that these things can eat away at your soul - in a world with magic, this is especially dangerous ☺) 5. "A tale of one shadow" This is about Sombra, who was trying study dark (fear) magic to get stronger and tried to cast a spell that was way beyond his recognition. This spell brought another entity his sinister shadow-self into this world who is later known as King Sombra. He tried to fight him for his loved ones, but was unable to win and was taken over just to enslave them. (The comics tell another story and i think this came out before the comics. It's a shame that you didn't watch till the end but, thats ok.) 6. "Fall of the Crystal Empire" The princesses came to stop King Sombra, but he managed to plant some nasty seeds strengthening Celestias fear of Lunas dark power and awaken her dark side. It was pretty self-explanatory. You are also right, Nightmare Moon is kinda her nightmarish counterpart. 7. "Daylight's End" Was just a little interlude with Luna. 8. "The Moon Rises" Another great PMV about Lunas rise to Nightmare Moon. 9. "Lullaby for a Princess" This MAGNUM OPUS of a fan-PMV is a figurehead of the fandom: it got a great animation, great music and is a tearjerker - it always makes me cry 😭😅 Funfact: The animator planned, wrote and made an animatic about it before the season 4 premiere with their depiction (the flashback scene) came out which was strangely similar to this... 2024-06-26 20:03:04 +0000 UTCLove the princess fan content, there is so much of it! some still being made, the fandom just loves the princesses I understand why cause I love them too! lullaby for a princess was very emotional, it’s a masterpiece just look at how many views it has by now it took years to make that one I heard, all of them are really enjoyable and great.
