Ooooo they are? That’s really interesting. That’s also sweet considering they were fighting and probably made up for Steven. Haha that’s awesome! They can get real creative with the combos! Oooo okay okay. MLP always provides me with that so seems I could get more. What an important episode and an extremely satisfying last sequence. Amazing stuff. Took a bit but we got here!

I love Opal sm, she’s just so cool… Fusion is a pretty big part of the show, no spoilers ofc but fusion is considered by the creators to be a metaphor for different types of relationships - romantic, platonic, familial, etc. - two gems have to be in good enough emotional and physical harmony to keep the form, otherwise they’ll become unstable and fall apart. I believe the Crewniverse (the people behind the show) said that they were inspired by Pearl’s hyperfocused and more “overthinking” personality combined with with Amethyst’s laid-back, multi-tasking style, creating a fusion that is likely to be so lazer-focused on a specific task that she’ll block out anything else around her, causing her to be a bit distracted or absent-minded at times. (So basically a gem with ADHD, as I interpret it. She’s just like me fr LMAOO) And finally the first real sung song of the show! There are so many bangers in the score, of course, but SU is really known for the musical numbers where characters sing. There’s some really, really good music down the line that I think you’ll really appreciate :) (Also I still can’t with Meat Beat Mania 😭 I’m pretty sure the name even got censored in some countries.)
