You know pinkie being self aware would be amazing. I always appreciate the meta ness. Another reason why she’s been climbing up my favorites. Tree hugger didn’t have friendly eyes there 👀👀👀👀 Celestia always up to her snide tricks. Everytime 😭😂 Huh that rarity joke is true. Great observation! Lovely threat 😂😅😅😅. His jealousy turns into utter hate - so much even that he wants to banish her into another Dimension - But luckily Fluttershy is able to clear it up and teaches Discord a valuable lesson about friendship. - Some notes/thoughts/facts: - That was utterly terrifying: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/b/b7/Crusaders_scream_at_Discord%27s_giant_eye_S5E7.png Even the lord of chaos is annoyed by the cutie marks crusaders' antics 😅 Pinkie was able to recognize Discord in that cardboard box, but more surprising was that 4th wall break, that was on a whole another level... I have a theory about Pinkie's 4th wall break: Either she knows fully well that this is a show and plays with it for fun, or she is obliviously almighty, but just unintentionally breaks the boundary sometimes in a spur of moment and just proceeds with other stuff, because she is kinda all over the place and doesn't think much about it... ...do you remember about how she sometimes said she placed stuff all over Equestria in case of whatever emergency may arise? (a ball for cerberus, eyepatches or hidden party-cannons) - i somehow doubt she places them there, she just materialized them there for convenience 😅 Btw. the appearing sound effect with the red exclamation point over it is a reference to Konami's Metal Gear video game franchise. Tree Hugger is definitely designed after a Hippie... "Radical to meet you. Really digging your vibe." - Way to introduce yourself 😋 Its the first time we see Discords home... in the chaos realm. - its surprisingly expectable? My theory is that "nakedness" is a bigger concern in Canterlot because in most scenes set in Canterlot, many ponies are dressed in elaborate and fancy clothing, unlike other places in Equestria. And that is because for ponies, clothing is almost always a luxury item. Unlike humans, ponies don't need clothing to stay warm unless it's extremely cold or required as a functional uniform for work. Therefore, there's less economic demand for clothes, making it a viable career only if clothing is very expensive. Expensive clothing becomes a status symbol - Owning a lot of costly clothes signifies high social status, even more than it does in real life. Rarity isn't worried about being naked because of any sexual connotation - she cares about not looking poor. This also explains why Rarity is so rich, because she just sells these herself 😏 Discord: "I've only got these tiny mismatched wings, and even I can fly better than Twilight Sparkle! Am I right? Pchoo!" Twilight Sparkle: "Hey!" Princess Celestia: [giggles] I loved Celestia's giggling here 🤣 Imagine, trying to be funny just to be upstaged by the most lethargic pony in the whole room. Funfact that i also didnt knew and just stumbled on: Maud's full name is "Maudileena Daisy Pie" Which makes sense if you think about how Pinkie's full name is "Pinkamena Diane Pie". Discord: "Relax. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm simply going to send you to another dimension." So he is able to open portals completely on his own... even to other dimensions... And he finally realizes that Fluttershy can have other friends for other interests and that this doesn't threat's their bond. I thought I could give you a break tonight, but it turns out I was in over my head." Princess Celestia: "You have nothing to apologize for. This has been the most fun Gala in years!" Twilight Sparkle: "I know, it was a—What?!" Princess Celestia: "I know! Can you imagine how dull it would have been if I hadn't invited Discord? Come on! Whoo! The night is still young!" That was hella obvious... Celestia is just a prankster at heart and this explains so much... again. - but after a thousand of years, i think this is kinda the way you have to tick, to not get insane over it. Fluttershy and Tree Hugger are indeed shipped because of their love of nature. --- This concludes "Make New Friends but Keep Discord" which was a pretty decent episode, with lots of humor and funny antics by Discord. It also had an interesting plot about the complexities of jealousy and insecurity in friendships which can result in some argument sometimes. Through Discord's journey, the episode conveyed that true friendship involves understanding, patience, and the willingness to grow together. And i know how you felt, because it also directly spoke to me as i also experienced this as a victim of both sides, in the past... Anyway, great reaction as always 💙

2024-07-07 05:53:25 +0000 UTCI loved this episode, I always enjoy it, tree hugger is awesome I like the relationship her and fluttershy have, lots of shipping in the fandom with her, discord was very jealous and worried, I also saw a bit myself how I used to be in him in this episode it’s used too know If someone has like replaced you as a friend or like someone is done with you or moved on to another person so I feel that lol, Lots of funny jokes in this episode, fun fact the smooze is a mlp g1 character! also I did love seeing maud as well! and celestia trolling again 😂😭 lol I love her maybe not as much as Luna but still, great reaction!
