Rarity and AJ do know each other good enough to not fall into this trap again and they Do play together well.

I guess a twilight version of a alicorns is whenever she’s with the princess 😂 Coco is back and it is wonderful!! I’m unsure why but I root for her so much. And that Fluttershy and rarity combo is spot on! Maybe that’s why as FS is my favorite and rarity has been on the come up this season! Also nice mention of AJ being in this environment. And this also seems to be the few times this isn’t a clean vs dirty war between the two so awesome they meshed well! Yes a lot of similarities to griffinstone but I loved the play and remembering what this place was in an tradition kind of way. Excellent excellent episode and I hope we see more coco

What did they do to you Twi, are you ill?! But she is restless. there is no impending doom or any villain to kick in the face but she would be all in for it in this very moment... did she become a thrillseeker due to her fight with Tirek?? 😨 - Well as we all know... she got what she wanted in the finale 😅 Yeah, a rarity Triple episode! At this point this show could be called "Rarity is magic" and i would be all for it 😋 https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/7/78/Rarity_bites_her_lower_lip_with_excitement_S5E16.png Dat face! 🤣 Its also another back-to-back episode with "Sisterhooves Social", because Applejack and Rarity had to go, Big MAC had to step in in the next episode. "Oh, Manehattan, what you do to me!" is a reference to the Generosity Song that Rarity sung the first time she was visiting this City. Coco Pommel is back! And she wants to bring the community together by setting up a theater revival. - Her design is great and why does her sitting pose in this frame strike me fancy? https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/1/15/Applejack_picks_up_a_sandwich_S5E16.png Its very Ladylike... While the other inhabitants of the neighborhood may had some good excuses, but that rich oat import-export guy called "Uptown Clover" was just an asshole... Its one big ass park to tend to... and AJ's hat is truly getting abused in this episode. The pony you called out here is named "Raspberry Beret" after a certain Song by Prince. This episode hat so many references to the real Manhattan, some Films and so on (here an exempt of a couple of them that i copied, that might be interesting): - The title is a reference to the 2002 romantic comedy film "Maid in Manhattan". - One scene has several references to the comic strip "Peanuts" by Charles M. Coco Pommel’s backstory and her heartfelt motivation to revive the community park through the theater brought Applejack and Rarity together in a way that cleverly explored their contrasting personalities. I found it particularly amusing how Applejack, usually so out of place in the hustle and bustle of Manehattan, managed to take the lead despite her initial discomfort. Her "fish out of water" moments were hilarious, especially in contrast to Rarity's confident social maneuvering in the beginning. The return of Coco Pommel was a highlight for me. She’s such a sweet character, with a demeanor that’s a blend of Fluttershy’s gentleness and Rarity’s elegance - its just adorable. Her effort to follow in the hoofsteps of Charity Kindheart and bring the community together was a touching showcase of her kind and determined nature, making her even more endearing. The moral of the episode, emphasizing the importance of community effort and perseverance, was conveyed beautifully. Instead of a quick fix from Twilight, the episode rightly focused on the need for the community to come together on their own - So you were absolutely right to compare it to the lesson in Griffonstone. Overall, this was an underrated but cozy episode with a perfect mix of comedy, emotion, and a great message about the value of community. The final scene, where everyone gathered to watch the theater revival, was such a heartwarming and powerful moment that truly captured the essence of the episode. It’s one I’ll remember fondly for its warmth and the way it brought these characters together in such a meaningful way.
