Ooo that’s awesome. Sounds like a well thought out fusion and inclusion. I love that. Loved the maturity and differing personalities with them. These episodes will always get controversy but it’s a fun, informative, and even propels the fusion potential. Out of nowhere but loved it!

2024-08-07 05:26:50 +0000 UTCWhen the Crewniverse were making this episode, they wanted to partly make it a commentary on the experience lots of ppl (specifically girls) have as they get older where as they hit puberty they start being seen as more mature than they feel, having to adjust to developing physically before they do mentally - as well as how people perceive you when that happens. It’s really interesting when you delve into it, and as someone who was raised a girl and was an early bloomer, it’s a pretty accurate portrayal of the juxtaposed experiences. However, the episode’s definitely had its fair share of controversy. I personally love the episode, especially after listening to the companion podcast episode about it, but it’s also such a unique concept and execution that I understand why some people may not like it all that much. Stevonnie is definitely a fan-favorite and the concept of the 2 fusing becomes more normal feeling as the show goes on. (Also side note just so u know, Stevonnie is canonically nonbinary and intersex, so they use they/them pronouns!)

2024-08-04 11:23:26 +0000 UTCThis episode definitely had an adventure time feel to it so I see how you got the Fionna and cake comparison, I think the fandom does love Stevonnie! not my favorite episode but it was very interesting and a big moment for Steven being able to fuse so I do like to see a new fusion, cool episode
