- Some notes/thoughts/facts: -
You are a huge Basketball-Nerd? Aren't cha? - Do you play yourself?
Unfair! You are having Dinner and I am hungry while watching... 😣😅
Good thing the gym is paying out for you :)
Twilight Sparkle: "What she means is, before you read it, we should probably tell you about—"
Rarity: "No, no, darling. Please, no spoilers."
Fluttershy: "But—"
Rarity: "No spoilers!"
- why does that sound so familiar 👀

- Do you recognize them? Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield from the 1994 film Pulp Fiction.
Also this reporter here called "Buried Lede" is modeled after the character J. Jonah Jameson from the Spider-Man comics:
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/7/73/Buried_Lede_sits_with_Rarity_%22ya_successfully_opened_a_shop_in_Manehattan%22_S6E9.png
It's funny how they are all portrayed here during the interview:
- Twilight tries to downplay everything
- Pinkie is stress-eating the whole time and ditching the invoice to the reporter
- Rainbow Dash is a blabbermouth and oblivious about the reporter writing down everything...
- Applejack is all about truth (as expected)
- Fluttershy is babysitting the Racoon-family and being just herself
Now it gets meta, its a flashback in a flashback...
"Mr. Stripes" the placeowner is quite difficult to handle and wants his daughter's ("Plaid Stripes") ideas to be heard or he increases the rent - isn't that blackmailing?
And holy heck, does she have ideas..:
- sell glow-in-the-dark teeth (wtf?!)
- antique horns for jingle-bells as door openers
- spoon clothes...
I dunno why but Smokey, Softpad and Smokey Jr. are adorable

I love everything about Twilights dance Remix "Sweep, sweep, sweep", indeed inspired a lot of people to do exactly that:

And poor Coco had just a short appearance... 😄 because she is ill 😣
Dang, Ed... you missed it! 👀
Pinkie Pie: "Yeah... Making copies of yourself always sounds like a great idea, but before you know it, you're locked in a room with fifty Pinkie Pies watching paint dry."
- When she said that she ate the pancakes which were hiding this:
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/2/21/Pinkie_clone_in_the_adjacent_diner_booth_S6E9.png
- seems like one clone escaped and didn't got send back... in "Too Many Pinkie Pies" (S3E3)
There are lots of theories about her - one I particular like is about how Pinkie is able to be "everywhere at once" all the time, hinting that this clone is going around everywhere and assist Pinkie in subtle ways.
Twilight begging to sort out the clothes... she is so adorkable at times...
Pinkie just sold escalator music as THE coolest new music straight from the back-alley underground to DJ-PON3... - She is better at selling snakeoil than Flim and Flam 😏
The 3 salesponies hired by Rainbow resemble well kown fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld, Betsey Johnson, and Zandra Rhodes:

This complacent smug, because she is able to tell clothes from chairs...🤣

spoonclothes...
"Allright Lady Gaga" 🤣
Nobody: "Guess i will have to start over, organizing!..."
Twilight: "Hold my beer!"
Fluttershy: "When you write the story, could you maybe skip over the part where we locked Rarity in the window display? [nervous chuckle]"
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/9/9a/Fluttershy_grinning_awkwardly_S6E9.png
- this face 😂
Chaos ensues, but Twilight is surprisingly calm:
Twilight Sparkle: "Rarity asked us to help her with everything because she knows all of us so well."
- Also speaking out what Rarity's true intentions are.
From this...

...to that...
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/e/eb/The_new_and_improved_Rarity_For_You_S6E9.png
...its quite the difference made in less than a day. - Magic does sure come in handy.
Twilight Sparkle: "The whole place organized by style, cross-referenced by size, and reverse-indexed by fabric. She'll be able to find anything in three seconds flat! It was some of my best work."

😆
Such a wholesome ending, everything just clicks, no harm is done and the opening of the shop is a success.
---
Rarity opens her new flagship store in Manehattan, aptly named "Rarity for You." While the grand opening seems straightforward, a tell-all article threatens to expose how her friends nearly ruined the event.
Rarity, confident in her friends' abilities, asks them to help with the grand opening, knowing that each will bring their unique strengths to the table. Despite her friends' initial missteps - trying to do things as they imagined Rarity would want it ("What would Rarity want") - their efforts ultimately reflect their true selves. Rarity's deep understanding of her friends' personalities shines through, and she trusts them to contribute in ways that align with who they are, not just what they think she would want.
Underlying themes of teamwork, friendship, and authenticity are woven throughout the episode. Each of the Mane Six's personalities is highlighted, showcasing how they handle stressful situations. Pinkie Pie's quirky antics, Twilight's organizational prowess, Applejack's practicality, Fluttershy's empathy, and Rainbow Dash's competitive spirit all play vital roles in the story, contributing to a wholesome and successful outcome.
The episode also stands out for its unique format, incorporating reality show elements and mockumentary-style interviews reminiscent of "The Office" etc., where characters recount events with humor and honesty. This adds a refreshing layer of comedy and self-awareness to this episode. The seamless transitions between scenes, along with the witty commentary from Rarity's friends, make for an entertaining and memorable episode, full of memes and laughter.
In the end, everything comes together perfectly, and Rarity's shop opens without a hitch, reinforcing the importance of trust, collaboration, and staying true to oneself.
This is a solid episode which beautifully conveyed the message of trust and understanding within friendships.
