2024-08-21 06:32:29 +0000 UTCWhat an amazing finale I did not expect garnet to be a fusion crazy twist, the song it played was cool while she was beating jasper, I really loved that it’s lgbtq representation ruby and sapphire are a couple when they fuse they are in a very stable relationship which is awesome it’s how she’s a fusion all the time, that conversation in the car between Steven and his dad was very heavy and awkward, Steven has so much trauma to deal with it’s crazy, also in the end lapis comes through for us! amazing episodes!

And it snuck up on me like crazy. And did not expect a song but it was nice! Looove that scene. A lot of pressure and trauma there but Steven knew what he needed to do. Yes jasper. Not yellow Diamond. Got it. Was confused at first since they were also yellow. And there relationship from what I’ve seen is…. Toxic to say that least. It sure was! I think there’s a decent amount of people who like the series so most likely we’ll continue! Think the vibe is SU and MLP. Thank you for being apart of the beginning and new era!

I loved this video, your reaction to the Garnet reveal was priceless, im so glad it didn’t get spoiled for you, as it’s the first (of many) big reveals in the show :) Ruby and Sapphire are in love and I adore them. Also, Stronger Than You is one of the fan favorite songs from the show and it’s such a good tune!! Not my favorite Garnet song personally, but it’s still a really fun listen. “I am even more than the two of them; everything they care about is what I am. I am their patience, I am their fury, I am a conversation.” is just such a good lyric, I love Garnet so much. The scene with Steven in the car with Greg is one of my absolute favorites in the season, Steven realizing in the moment that he has the only thing that could possibly save the gems’ lives (his shield) and having to take that responsibility in order to protect his family. It’s just written and voiced so well, it gives me goosebumps every time. And oh my goodness, Jasper introduction!!! For a bit of clarification: Jasper is the name of the gem that fused with Lapis, and Yellow Diamond is a higher up gem that Jasper reports to/was assigned the mission from. Jasper and Lapis’ relationship/dynamic is a very very nuanced and interesting one, so it’ll be cool to see your thoughts as it develops. This has been such a fun journey, and I’ll definitely be sticking around for S2 if it’s been decided you’ll continue!
