2021-11-03 17:03:26 +0000 UTCI love seeing Stiles start to forgive himself and Scott. Scott has shown before how little he cares about himself compared to how much he cares about others. So him not healing fast is because he feels broken or that he doesn't deserve to heal just like when Derek "died" in season 3. Allison had to sew his wounds before he actually started to heal. It was really nice seeing Him and Stiles finally start to feel like normal again, plus Scott really needed that.

Argent is technically on contract/ running with the caleveras to track Kate across the country, he comes back because of the sentimental connection to the town and Scott’s pack. The reason Gordon is back: The beast actually has three names. La bete, in English - the beast, and full title- the beast of geavudan. In this episode stiles recognized a piece of the phrase in the water plant that was about time and the creature being old and when he was reconciling with Scott stiles made the connection that the dread doctors didn’t necessarily create something new like the chimeras, they resurrected something really old, the beast of geavudan. In season one, when Kate was manipulating Alison, she told her the story of the beast of geavudan because it is connected to their family lineage it was said that the beast(the first werewolf- ever) was killed by a man named argent. Alison’s dad came back because he was afraid they had resurrected the beast of geavudan, he goes to Gordon in this episode because obviously in every day to day if you have questions about the family lineage and history you go to the surviving members of the family it also helps that Gordon is as old as dirt.

2021-11-03 09:54:45 +0000 UTCSame! When I first watch the show and I heard that conversation my perception of what Stiles was feeling during this whole season change.. I always thought that he just feared losing Scott because of the "self defense thing" but after hearing this whole thing his behavior for me made a lot more sense. He was convinced that he was a murderer, and convinced that the rest of the people will see it like that as well. Thats why he couldnt tell anyone.. Which is kind of interesting since he is supposed to be the rational one. I guess that just shows how sometimes we can be our biggest enemies..

2021-11-03 09:39:30 +0000 UTCi really like that conversation between stiles and his dad bc it finally brings to light what stiles was feeling basically this entire season. finally where he actually explained himself. i wish we saw it between him and scott but i do think it’s good that it was with his dad bc his dad understands more regarding the guilt idk. but anyway i was also happy that his dad still encouraged stiles to stop pushing away scott, bc they’re gonna need each other. like that entire fight was just one big ball of miscommunication. there isn’t really blame to be put on either one of them (except for theo) so i think it was good for stiles to hear that he basically needs to let scott in again. also so happy y’all got to the episode where meredith helps lydia know how to use her powers more. i feel like lydia got bashed on so much like in season 3 bc she didn’t know much about her gift. but like could you blame her? literally no one else knew shit about banshees lol. it’s no wonder that it took her this long to find someone who could help attain her full abilities.
