The outrage when Alison died really made people hate her, and Jeff Davis had told her she was signed on for season 6. When it came to shooting some of the cast actually reached out and asked why she wasn't onset for the preparations of season 6 and thats when she asked if she was coming back and they said no. They said there was no need for her character anymore. She has a youtube channel and you can watch her goodbye video, she clearly loved playing Kira and wanted to stay, but they lied to her saying she would return knowing she wouldnt. Arden cho deserved so much better than what she was put through.

2021-12-21 21:28:49 +0000 UTCI remember waiting for them to announce season 6 and Arden (kiras actress) posted a youtube video saying goodbye to teen wolf fans, explaining that neither the writters or the audience liked her character so they fired her. It was really sad and at that time I didn’t like her character either so i felt kinda guilty. Looking back, I wish she had stayed.
