I agree, one of my favorite scenes back in the earlier seasons, with Stiles and Lydia’s relationship was back in 3x14 (I think). When Lydia was stuck in the bear trap and Stiles had to save her. We see Lydia actually acknowledge Stiles and praise him for being a genius, which is usually the other way around, as she had complete faith in the fact that he’ll save her despite not being able to read the instructions. It’s such a cute testament as to how she really trusted him and cared about him at that point. Also showing that she was getting to know Stiles for who he was compared to previous seasons. Looking back the two definitely shared a lot of scenes together with the two equally caring about each other during the start of their friendship. As Stiles had to learn to see Lydia for who she truly was outside of just a crush and she was learning who he was as well.

Also Lydia protect stiles and Scott when she threw herself on them at that hotel. So the brothers really need to stop acting like Malia is the only one he cares for stiles. Also when the Nogitsune was telling stiles to kill himself and she was begging him not to do.

Davion like I get where your coming from but don’t act like Lydia didn’t fight for stiles in the other seasons. Like last season she told him to run when she was about to scream because she knew that can kill him. Season 3b she was fighting for him also when they was trying to find him. Shoot she was the only who remember him in this season. Lydia cares a lot for stiles. Also Lydia had to deal with guys treating her like crap for a long time so she I might have known how to act with stiles treating her like a freaking queen. She cares a lot for him and it shows throughout the show.
