Okay good to know. They were healthy when they communicated so it seemed like it was mainly just child pressures of fitting in but definitely got the divorce parents vibe with the two sides. Seems people will get icky to match their ships 😅. She could always move there without this intention of love 😂

2024-10-12 17:47:10 +0000 UTCIt is unclear from what we see on screen as to whether Skybeak and Oceanflow are actually divorced, but regardless this was 1000% intended to be a divorce metaphor. It was actually quite creative of the writers to use the hippogriffs' situation to address the issues around children of divorced parents without having to be explicit about it. Also, I hesitate to bring this up because of the age gap, as some people have strong feelings on this, but some folks have envisioned a grown-up Scootaloo and Terramar as a potential ship. I'm guessing this is fueled by them wanting Scootaloo to move to Seaquestria to satisfy her dreams of "flying."
