Fantastic and dark episode! Oh so it was definitely more in the background and smaller detail. Okay okay. And they should def do more of these full episodes! I love it

If I remember correctly, this episode was a special to celebrate reaching 100 episodes (this was technically considered the 98th/99th episode but still). As for foreshadowing, the only times we ever got hints towards Bismuth was when we first enter Lion’s Mane (her bubbled gem is briefly shown), as well as when Lapis tells steven her backstory (we see a Bismuth poof her, though it’s never been confirmed whether it was this Bismuth or a different one, I’m betting on the latter). Such a good episode with very interesting messaging
