Yeah, the opening to Better together Season 2 is really great! It's also funny how they took up the influencer vlogging scene by making it seem like a typical Youtube video 😅 "Reboxing with Spike!" Spike's unboxing video about #Puppyselfcare about expensive stuff, takes a funny twist as he did pay that with Sci-Twi's money and has to send them back. It's a playful nod to the unboxing trend, showcasing Spike's charm and the absurdity of being a dog who is able to talk and order what he wants... - As much as I would want a dog who speaks to me, this is definitely a problem I don't want to face... 😅 - Also, wouldn't Spike be really famous as the sole speaking dog? "DIY with Applejack" Applejack's do-it-yourself project embodies her practical nature. Her straightforward approach and occasional mishaps while overbearingly elaborating and redoing stuff which needed 73 steps... was funny, but next time I would think twice about asking AJ to do a DIY-Video out of it 😅 - However it's a sweet, down-to-earth short that captures Applejack's dedication. "The Craft of Cookies" Pinkie is second to none as the master of baking, and it gets predictably chaotic. Baking with Pinkie Pie is a whirlwind of sprinkles and laughter, with her boundless energy turning even a simple cookie recipe into delightful chaos. Her geode-powered sprinkle explosion is classic Pinkie Pie-fun, messy, and impossible to replicate. However poor Tank tries to sneak a taste of the ingredients, but Pinkie keeps munching them all away... though in the end, he does get one of the freshly baked cookies! - And yes, Tank is also my favorite pet, right after Owlowlicious and Gummy. "Street Magic with Trixie!" Trixie Lulamoon is here! - She goes full "Great and Powerful" on the streets, attempting to wow a crowd by cutting Spike in two during a half-baked street magic performance - who, thankfully, is saved by Twilight's subtle telekinesis assistance, levitating everything. Trixie, of course, assumes all credit, and we can't help but applaud her unwavering confidence. Magic or not, the illusionist never breaks character, and we're just here for the show. 😏 "Sic Skateboard" Rainbow Dash puts on a skate show, building up anticipation for Tank's "sick trick". While the trick itself may be, well, modest at best, Rainbow's editing wizardry is the true hero here. It's all in good fun and a little bit of special effects magic - because, hey, every tortoise deserves a moment in the spotlight. 😊 - It's a neat little feel-good short. "Street Chic" Rarity's summer fashion vlog - filmed in the middle of fall - showcases her dedication to style, even if her friends are freezing. This short humorously highlights the balance between fashion and reality. It's a fun reminder that sometimes, fashionistas just have to roll with the weather! 😅 "Game Stream" Sunset Shimmer is ready to show Fluttershy how to "pwn some noobs" on her channel "ShimmerCode". But instead, Fluttershy stuns her with unexpected squirrel-gaming skills, leaving Sunset in the dust. It's a fun reversal of roles: Sunset's frustration grows, while Fluttershy's gentle prowess quietly reigns supreme. 😆 Who knew squirrels could be so intense? - A light-hearted lesson that anyone can surprise you. 😏 And I love how Sunset took it with excitement! "Best in Show: The Pre-Show" Fluttershy is jittery as she and Applejack host the pre-show for the Canterlot Pet Show, but her initial nervousness melts away as she uses her geode powers to chat with the pets at the Canterlot Pet Show, with Applejack's enthusiastic support. Between the cute pets and Fluttershy's rising confidence, this short feels like an adorable warm-up to a pet extravaganza leading to the next short. "Best in Show: The Victory Lap" During the awards, Micro Chips' robot claims third, Tank scores second, and Cranky Doodle's dog proudly takes first place. It's a celebration of unconventional winners and a little friendly competition that proves all pets have star potential - even the robotic ones, although I have to question why it is at a pet show? But that just might be the joke here 😏 "Schedule Swap" The girls' mix-ups on the first day of school is pure comedy gold, as they find themselves in wildly unsuitable classes. Celestia's patience is nothing short of admirable, although she was close to exploding at the end... 😅 - At least they got lunch together... well except for Starlight... 😆 - But how is it even possible to fail this hard!? "Twilight Under the Stars" Twilight, brimming with excitement at meeting astrophysicist Rosette Nebula, finds herself stumbling over introductions. Pinkie's well-timed chocolate cake and a final push from Timber Spruce save the day. It's a reminder that sometimes all it takes to reach for the stars is a little courage (and maybe a slice of cake). An inspiring tale with an extra helping of sweetness! 😅 "Five Stars" Pinkie is overjoyed with her cafe's five-star rating streak—until one customer leaves four stars. Determined to win back that last star, Pinkie smothers her with over-the-top service, only to learn that sometimes, peace and quiet are the real five-star experience. - A positive lesson in self-restraint, served with a side of giggles by yours truly Pinkie Pie... 😁 "FOMO" Rarity's FOMO-inspired detective work ends in a surprise birthday party, revealing that her friends had been planning for her all along, while excluding her, to prevent any spoilers. However, her dramatic flair is in full force, making this short relatable and heartwarming in the end... "I'm on a Yacht" Now this song is a wild one, with very interesting... ahem... visuals... very fan-servy... Anyway, this is kind of a parody (only in name) to "I'm on a boat!". The music is very different from the usual style the Rainbooms have. Still it was very interesting and it sparked lot's of debates... - They indeed got really cool designs. I loved the video-visuals here and how her speed was portrayed here - it was great!
