It’s also angels perspective so I think just making a bad read or he ships them. Even the. Crazy to hear Unsure if this format is my favorite but it does get us new sides and understandings all around. Difficult assessment 😅

I may not be a fan of how Angel is but the end result was a great revelation for the both of them. That line was so out of pocket 😭😭 Love how we saw how threatening both sides can be!!

2024-12-13 09:31:27 +0000 UTCDefinitely a crazy episode lol understandable how frustrating it was to see angel lol one of the most hated character in the show be fluttershy for the day, lol 😂 he said fluttershy wants it merry discord! so fluttershy definitely sees discord more than a friend it seems ? and seeing angel treat those poor animals so bad it was hard to watch but I would expect that out of him tbh he hardly cares at all, the relationship between fluttershy and angel has always been really toxic I am glad it’s gotten development right at the end they kinds redeemed him sorta,but I agree we should’ve seen it in early seasons it would’ve worked better, also yes this is that same format from 2, 4,6 greeeat I’ve noticed it to for these past episodes.

2024-12-12 11:44:19 +0000 UTCFluttershy and Angel relationship wasn't brought up in the show for a long time, and I am glad we got some development of that theme here. I love the chemistry between them two and how this episode makes them feel much more alive, especially Angel, who behaved like a complete jerk for entire show. Even though he still does a lot of dirty stuff, we finally have a chance to understand his personality and feelings more. And overall it's just another very well written episode. Plot with zero water whose elements are perfectly connected and serve to tell a story, smoothly developed conflict that makes total sense and didn't come out of nowhere, logical character motivations, great usage of a sanctuary and Fluttershy's busyness, "I wanna merry Discord" line. Can't help but love it, this is an example that even with a very standard and cliche trope of switching bodies it's possible to make an engaging story.

I think I meant more it’s the same level of maddening and frustrating with the characters can arguably be seen in a regressive or bad light. That is very true with Angel and Fluttershy. Think it just felt frustrating to watch since Angel is already known to be high maintenance and not caring, not out of character. It actually was a good representation of both sides’ needs. I mean more of this is final season so to get a story like this seems like something to do maybe in the past two seasons. But maybe in still mad at angel 😂. you’re right that it can definitely fit this season

When I said after 2, 4, 6 Greeeat that there wasn't another episode like it I meant an objectively bad episode that regresses a main character's development. I didn't even remotely suspect you'd see this episode similarly, because we *haven't* had any significant development in Angel or in his relationship to Fluttershy. Everything here was in character. Personally I find this episode hilarious. Is your issue here mainly just Angel acting bad, or do you actually see some regression here? You did mention that you thought maybe this episode should have occurred earlier, but I'm just not seeing why. If there's a time that you can point to when you think Fluttershy and Angel's relationship had improved ahead of this, I'd be interested to know where that is.
